We price based on volume – the space items take in our 14-foot dump trailer. We don’t add surcharges unless the items are not “normal” – paint or concrete, for example.
We take paint but charge extra to dispose of wet paint because our team has to spend time responsibly disposing of paint leftovers.
According to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, “[e]ach year, an average of two gallons of paint is sold per person in the United States.” Leftover paint creates a hazard to the environment, with chemicals that affect our air, soil, and water quality. Therefore, we must solidify the paint before we can dispose of it.
When our team takes your paint off your hands, we take it to our shop, where we use our paint station to spend the extra time mixing paint with kitty litter and paint hardener to dispose of the paint safely. It might be extra work, but minimizing our footprint on the planet is worth it.
Yes. We want to provide an honest estimate and meet your budget needs. While we can provide estimates from photos, we conduct onsite quotes for pricing accuracy.
